I was about to get pretty scathing, but after checking the description, it does indeed say it is best for educational, government, or corporate uses. And by that, I think they mean they are a step above built computer speakers. They do indeed make it so that I can hear stuff for informational purposes, but DO NOT get these if you intend to listen to music or use them as your primary speakers. The left one is rattling during a youtube tutorial with just a mid-low range voice speaking, at half volume. It has no bottom end, which is to be expected with no subs, but it shouldn't make claims about having full sound or good fidelity. These sound about like your friend's cell phone speaker. Just really loud. In fact, I just upped it to 3 stars because I feel bad, they are PERFECT for like a mobile teacher or someone who wants to play an instructional video real quick without much hassle. They are very much not perfect for anyone with an ounce of desire for quality sound. But come on, they're like $15, so no surprise there. I recommend going with a simple set that comes with a modest subwoofer if you want some depth to your sound. These are very untweakable and do not give a good representation of the sound, BUT it doesn indeed let you show your coworker that freshest, funniest video of that guy doing that thing somewhere.
