SiGi walkie-talkie handy with great price

I bought these so that I can keep in touch with my disabled hubby when I'm in another part of the house or outside. I was most interested in the SiGi feature since it is difficult for him to press the PTT. I'm a little disappointed that the SiGi doesn't pick up his voice unless the walkie-talkie is close to his mouth. It's no fault of the radio; it's his soft voice. That's something folks should be aware of if you are purchasing the radios to use as a monitor.

My only complaint is with the directions. They are not clear and could be written with better explanations of the menu options and how to set the radios up. I finally figured it out, but it took quite a while.

I really like this product I use it for work. So a lot of times I'm in an attic or an employee is an attic and another employee need to talk to them and we have to pull out her cell phones to talk to each other and with this you can clip it to your belt and just use it. My little brother and I tried them out to see how far they would reach and got a half mile away and could still get clear reception. There is a ton of features - Channel scanning, frequency scanning, voice activation, and a lot of other amenities that I did not think would be available in such a cheap package. they arrived on time in good packaging.

My husband and I have home offices next to each other, but whenever we tried to yell back and forth, a lot was lost in the exchange. We tried using our cell phones, but that was a pain. Then we got these amazing little walkie-talkies and now our conversations are clear as a bell. No more yelling! They were very easy to set-up, and we haven't changed the batteries since we got them. They are so small they almost look like a toy, but are very professional looking (we got the black set). Altogether, a surprisingly affordable, fun and convenient product. Thank you!

First I’d like to say these work much better than I would expect at this price. I went for a hike and left one at home with my wife to check the reception and it worked crazy great, loud and clear. The downside is, although the case is well fitted, it is very light and cheap plastic. One drop on concrete or asphalt and....you would have many piece. Still, at the price, they work better than a pair of Cobras I am replacing which were selling for 3 times this price. I would recommend a nice padded case and be very careful not to drop them.

We have purchased these twice now. The first pair broke, but it was our own fault. We loved them so much, we repurchased! We live in the city on the 15th floor of an apartment building and my son will often "send one" with Daddy on his walk to work and he loves that he can talk to him while he's going on his walk to work a few blocks away! Highly recommend these!

I bought the walkie talkies because I was going on a cruise, with another couple. We kept one and gave the other couple the other walking talking, and they worked excellent. I dont know how far the distance was, but we could hear them no matter where they were on the ship.

Work great, about the size of an iPhone 7 (from antenna to bottom) so fits easily in hand, easy to set up, lock feature is the best won’t have to worry about changing channels or hitting wrong buttons
